Christmas wishes, just under the wire
Eleven o'clock El Paso time so there's just enough of the day left to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! I've had a generally lovely day with just a little family craziness, mostly from my mom. (More on that another time--gonna' keep this one light.)
Had planned to meet up with two girlfriends tonight for our gift exchange, but one of them bailed and, frankly, I'm sooooo glad. I'm really beat. So instead of still being in heels and makeup out in public, I'm curled up on my parents' sectional sofa, in the corner, with my brother on one end, my parents' dog Max on the other, and the 'Vita dog asleep on the rug in front of me. We're watching the 2nd season of 'Home Movies'--a gift from the bro today--and I'm going to make myself some mint tea in just a bit. Absolute heaven I tell you.
Again, I wish you a wonderful holiday season and hope you're surviving the time with your family and maybe even enjoying it a little too. Peace on earth and all that jazz.
