Such a busy weekend and lots of news on the home and personal fronts, but it will all keep for another day. For now, I've pilfered this quiz content from urlgirl at her livejournal blog. Who knew I was so militant?

things i hate:

• the day after christmas
• realizing at the last minute that the outfit i picked out to wear looks ridiculous and nothing else is clean/ironed or any less ridiculous
• still being caught off guard by the thought of divorce

things that baffle me:

• how my car can accumulate so much crap in just a day
• why i can't get to bed early no matter how hard i try
• where my atm card has disappeared to
• why every grocery store in the austin area has stopped carrying plain, unsalted rice cakes
• asian men who give the world's best pedicures and foot massages

things i love:

• giving the perfect gift
• the thought of seeing the star on the mountain when i drive into town (el paso)
• the smell of neighborhood fireplaces on crisp winter evenings
• plain, unsalted rice cakes...with peanut butter and strawberry jelly
